I have a hantek DSO2C15, I've been decoding and monitoring some I2C data streams on a device under test.

The built in protocol decode, once you set it up is a very useful feature, but the manual is.... well a bit pants to be honest.

I know I can snapshot the screen, and also grab the current wave on screen, but what I really want to do is save out the decoded bytes in the onscreen monitor, preferably in real time if possible.

Anyone know if it's at all possible?

Cheers
Shawty

Better to ask in the main thread here:

https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/new-hantek-dso2x1x-models/

At the top of the page, search the word "Protocol" in "This Topic"  :)

Not that I'm aware of. Just get a cheap 8ch 24MHz logic analyzer ($8) and use Sigrok or Saelae software.

DavidAlpha... yea I have one of those already, I was just wondering if it was possible using the scope, since I had it all set up and tracing, didn't want to disconnect everything to get the logic analyzer set up :-)
Meh....
