Anritsu faulty keys? For MG3700A vector signal generator.

Hi All

I have just bought an Anritsu MG3700A vector signal generator. However, the keys seem either intermittent or don't seem to work at all.

I searched the forum for faulty keys on Anritsu gear and found a few people with similar problems but I couldn't find any solution that may have been used.

I have yet to get a service manual. I think I can get one once my registration is approved.

I had a MG3700A with terrible keys! All I had to do was unscrew things until I could get the blister pad out and then I tossed it in the dishwasher, popped it back in, and was good to go.

Your dishwasher might be more aggressive than mine so be careful.

Thanks. I did much the same. Just cleaned the circuit board and keypads and reassembled the instrument. Now it works fine.
