If you wanna buy a multimeter and use then for 20 years Fluke 87 is the guy, have a lot of people selling 2nd handle 87 on ebay for 1/2 thge price of a new one, and since those meter are made like a war tank , you probably will get a quite decent and accurate meter.

On the other hand if you haven't the money , unit, victor even vishay are your reasonable options to use for some time and buy a new one on a frequently bases due to failure on protection .

Basically Fluke you will buy one time the others need replacement more frequently
