cJTAG FLASH programmer CCS and F280049
« on: April 28, 2021, 06:57:31 pm »
I have been playing with a TI F280049 for a few days. So far only on a Launchpad development board that has a built in FLASH programmer and debugger. I now want to move to a custom board using just the F280049 so I will need an inexpensive FLASH programmer.

I can debug on the development board if necessary so I only need FLASH programming capability, preferably with the cJTAG interface because of the low pin count. TI recommended their XDS200, priced at about $500 so that breaks the inexpensive criteria.

Any suggestions?

Hmm..... I suppose I could use the launchpad development board as a FLASH programmer by simply redirecting the signals to the custom board.

Yes you can use Launchpad development board as a programmer/debugger.
Remove those jumpers and wire some cables to your new board.
