Fluke serial number decode
« on: January 19, 2014, 07:02:24 pm »
Hello,

Just wondering if someone can decode the year /month of production of the fluke equipment, I have two Fluke 289 and both stats with '9' and in the menu it says calibrated 2009, which I ssume is the year they have been produced also?

Can you determine Fluke year by serial number?

Thanks.

If calibration counter is 1 then calibration date is when unit was mnf. (or couple of days before). Unless your unit was repaired and main board was replaced.
