Tenma 72 7290 ac adapter or battery ?

Hi everyone,

I just received a nice combo Tenma 72 7290, everything seems ok except the multimeter.
The multimeter works with an external power supply or a battery ?
It seems to be 9v
Does anyone has the same Tenma ?
Or the schematic or manual ?
