My UNI-T UT71B at that same angle looks washed out as well but the tilting bail (fully extended) on the UNI-T makes it lay down at about 40 degrees so it's quite readable.

Btw nice microfiber towel from Costco :)
They are awesome and cheap!

Yes, Brymens do not have good contrast when viewed from above.

Lol -- I use those towels for everything. Great for washing the car, or for putting stuff on the workbench without scratching it  :)

Thanks for confirming about the screen angle; just wanted to make sure I didn't get a dud. I'm quite happy with the greenlee so far.
