Has anyone else noticed this?

It's on pretty much every listing I checked. Not everything, but most things.

I doubt it's anything suspicious as it's been that way since I first saw their stuff on ebay. They have plenty of decent feedback as well (including those in this thread).

Yep, I see this one all the time as well. But if the price is right I might just get it for the knobs.... but not at the price listed.

Is there any way to block sellers from turning up on Ebay searches? I'm tired of seeing this seller's carp - once is amusing, but it gets annoying to see this junk on every other search.

And I would love to block those sellers who specialize in manuals... sure there are cases where I might want to search for a manual ( I have even bought one before), but if I am looking for a good deal I don't want to scroll through 2000 pages of manuals to find a real piece of equipment. :)

Possibly too many of those to block but you can use - in front of a search term so "widget -manual" can filter out the majority.

Doh, I use the "-" notation on google regularly, not sure why it didn't occur to me to try it on EPay.

Once again....to put beyond use. Many owners of equipment do not wish their scrap to find its way back into use, possibly due to safety issues but more likely due to the companies internal disposal regulations. They own the kit so they can destroy or deface it before binning it. No techie like to do it but this is not at all uncommon.
