Question about Scopes with CRT's (Solved)

Hello all,
I am looking to get back into the hobby and am looking to buy my first used scope.
I have been looking at the tek 2467 line, Particularly ones with the #6 option and have a Q about what I am seeing out there.

Some of the scopes have a red boarder on the display, Is this indicative of a failing CRT or other problem?

No, that is the back light for the graticule with the adjustable brightness, and can be turned on and off.

Edit :

For example here my 2465B (should be similar to 2467) with red backlight turned off. There is a knob with label "SCALE ILLUM" at the bottom, thats the knob for the red back light.




This with the red back light turned on. If you watch closely at the bottom, there are 3 brighter spots where the light originated by the incandescence lamps located at the bottom of the screen.
