SDS2000X HD / SDS3000X HD Hack

Hi all, has anyone hacked the SDS 2000X HD / 3000X HD? If it's not available publicly, can anyone at least confirm that it has been done? I don't mind reverse engineering it myself.

Are there any firmware dumps available? Or any information on the firmware encryption/file format to get me started and save some time?

I'm pretty decent with reverse engineering. If I can figure it out and know that it can't be easily patched, I'll post instructions for other people.

The author decided to remove the file for whatever reason but it seems likely someone can decrypt and patch the ADS files for the new siglent scopes.

Do you have an SDS2000 or 3000X HD?
Otherwise, you don't even need to think about it.
There are neither instructions nor a script for this.
You can read that it works if you make the effort, which you obviously haven't done, otherwise you would also know that I also opened a thread about it back then.
It “died” because there was and is nothing to report.

There are various reasons why there is no how to to read here, the most important is that you don't want to encourage the manufacturer to build in an even bigger hurdle for “unlocking”.
This variant, which applies to the SDS2000X HD and higher, should be seen as a red line.
Because the next one could make it impossible and nobody wants that.
And no, I don't know how to do it, I'm not an expert.
I just know that it works and that's enough for me, that's all I need to know.
