Strange Chirping Noise Comming From Uniden Phone

--Here in an old Florida house I tend to get a lot of exotic visitors of the 0,4, 6 and 8 legged kinds. Lately my phone has been waking me up with a strange chirping ring tone. I would grab it and no one was there, and no sign of a call in the memory. I thought the phone had a bug in it. Turns out the bugs were not in, but merely near the phone, which is near a window with a hole in the screen.

had a similar experience when my sons reptile food namely crickets excaped and bred .it was bastard noisy at night.took weeks to get rid .in the end turned the heating off .
