wide range analog VCO wanted 90-210Mhz
« on: March 23, 2021, 12:52:30 am »
I would like an analog VCO or PLL-VCO that can voltage tune from 90MHz to 210Mhz
The closest I found is TLC2934.  It reaches 130MHz, and is "last time buy"
I thought such chips were common, but they are going extinct.

There are other solutions, but this is the easiest for my goal.

There is a lot of digital ones if that can be used.
The SI-5351 is hackable up to 225Mhz but its a square vave.

A PLL isn't generally voltage tuned. That frequency sweep is pretty aggressive for 90 to 230 MHz. How about sweeping 1.0 to 1.2 GHz, and mixing down to 90 to 210 MHz?

Mini-Circuits POS-200. Also end of life, but you may find it here and there.
