Make break modulation, what is it?

Anyone have any idea what that is suppose to mean regarding a RF signal generator?  ???
Is it 'pulse' modulation they are talking about?

I think you are correct. In the specifications it says:

- CH2 Modulation: ON/OFF (Make-Break) Modulation; Modulation Frequency 1Hz-1MHz; Stepped Frequency 1Hz
It's on/off modulation, i.e. 100% pulse modulation.

Yep, that's it, same OSD , how can that be used as a constant signal source for adjusting/tweaking a receiver?
