Weller WT2M Parts

I've used Weller stuff for a long time and have grown accustomed to doing my own repairs.  I have an otherwise functional WT2M that has a badly damaged case.  I was surprised when Weller said they don't sell parts and the fix is "only through our repair services."

Is this true for Weller parts everywhere, or is this limited to some places like the US? 

The indicate that the repair will be $100-$200 with indeterminate turnaround.  So I need to arrange for something else.  Looks like JBC still sells parts, I guess this is the nudge I needed.
