This just arrived in the post today It's the real deal too!
Got mine from http://proto-pic.co.uk/ who are now a distributer and as far I know the only UK distributor that has an online order system (I think http://www.dancap.co.uk/ are the only other UK distributor that sells the 888). It came to £120 shipped to my door.
Thought I would share this since so many people have been looking to get this Iron in the UK.

Nice to see Proto_Pic,  a UK hobby based company actually advertising the fact they sell them.


Dancaps site  leaves me cold with just  typewritten web pages and  payment methods out of the ark.

There is one more Authorised Uk dealer, but little hobbyist presence.

Haha, we have almost the same setup (same soldering iron and bench PSU).
