TOSHIBA LX835-D3203 all in one pc 23' lcd led

Hi I have TOSHIBA LX835-D3203  23'broken screen , I did not find any  compatibility replacement lcd led display I asked Toshiba service no replacement of screen , all others brand we can find on eBay exact screen ,except   TOSHIBA LX835-Dxxx series ?
I disassembled  to find the part number of LCD  LM230WF5 (TL)(G1) from LG , when search  on eBay I find  LM230WF5(TL)(D2) ,  LM230WF5(TL)(C1) AND  LM230WF5(TL)(F1)
what is the meaning of latters after the number  can I use any one work fine

Maybe different small revisions, but otherwise looks nearly the same. The D1 is 1.2mm thinner and slightly lighter.

Hi, notebook LCD screens are compatible most of the time if have the same size and connector, even between different brands: LG, Samsung, AUO, Chungwa... LM230WF5(TL)(F1) should be almost the same. Though there are some exceptions with eeprom contents on LCD, never heard that Toshiba have them however. There were some Dell which needed specific eeprom.

From the datasheet, there's no EEPROM on these. It's a plain LVDS interface.

Hello, I have the exact same problem with my display. I only found the exact LM230WF5(TL)(G1) in Hong Kong but I'm afraid to risk my money. Did you bought the other display instead? Did it worked for you?
I hope you can help me on this. Thanks!

I have interchanged quite a few laptop screens in the past. In general as long as the dimensions fit and the resolution is the same, it works. That being said, there are often quality differences. Sometimes better sometime worse. Within the same model number (not the sub revision) I seldom saw differences.

Thanks, Pedro, I told my technician what you post but he didn't recommend me to try that because of bad past experiences. I called LG (México) and the don't have the display. I feel really frustated.

I bought  the Genuine Lenovo B540P LCD SCREEN DISPLAY 23" - LM230WF5 (TL) (F1) ebay(281088383956)
woke good but the finishing Matte lcd(does not reflect the light that's good )   Not ultra bright   (original Toshiba   ) . The LED connector  and data cable ,dimension the same woke fine

That's probably one of what the differences in the suffices mean. Matte vs glossy, optional antireflective coatings/surface treatments, etc.

Now that you mention it I HAVE encountered that. It seems like the suffixes either serve as revision markers or to denote glossy versus matte. Also, Ultrabright just means it is a glossy screen (nothing else special about it from what I have seen). The glossy screens appear to let more light through so hence the ultrabright moniker.
