Spectral Analysis and Advanced FFT Training
« on: March 16, 2012, 02:42:52 pm »
I did a customer training yesterday. The feedback I got was surprisingly positive, very few "attendees" dropped off after the first 10 min, so I thought I share the archived version with y'all.
https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/698264145

Two words of caution:
1) The training is geared towards somewhat higher end scopes (roughly speaking 200MHz and above)
2) Since this is a corporate sponsored webcast you will have to register with your e-mail address.

In other words this webinar might not be for everybody.

Enjoy

Chris

Unsupported OS

This recorded Webinar is only available for Windows 2000 or higher.

I'm not blaming the OP for this, but.. wow, that's the dumbest error I have seen in a long time. Registering is one thing, but I really hate to install user-agent switchers just to watch a video.

Ha ha ha. Yeah and sorry for the hijack but yep pretty obvious how old the server technology is over there. I hope nobody has too much of their personal data with that mob. Someone pointed out to me the other day that the Optus website STILL has no mobile version despite over 20% of it's traffic comes from a handheld device.

Well, awkward indeed.  Surprisingly enough my Mac had no problems whatsoever, typically the mantra "Everything runs Windows" can mean fun & games as well.

I also watched it on my Mac using VLC. At the same time I streamed it to disk so I have an offline copy as well.

Yes, the user agent sniffing is stupid, it's even a standard Windows Media stream, as opposed to the proprietary platform used for webinars by a certain well-known DMM and calibration equipment manufacturer.

Chris: Thanks for posting this, I think it's relevant content for this audience, even though most of us may not have access to the sophisticated scopes shown in this video. The content appears fairly vendor-neutral.

Bummer...

...Yes, this webcast was recorded using GotoMeeting, that, I understand requires a Windows platform.
I have a .wmv files that I can send you.

For anybody who is interested in the slides, they are available for 4 weeks at
