Recommend me a cheap eBay universal programmer?

Devices of interest are Atmel 28C64 or equivalent, and Lattice 22V10 in PLCC28 packages (I am aware I will need an adaptor and have sourced one already). The cheaper/nastier the better! My budget is non-existent in the bad way, so I'm hoping there's a Chinese one that's "good enough". Failing that, at least let me know if there are any to avoid.

I might be able to get a Dataman S4 from work on extended loan, but I'm not sure if it knows how to program GALs, and nobody else seems to know either as it hasn't been used in a very long time.

Maybe a GALEP is a nice one.

I wouldn't recommend going for the cheapest. As a corruption in the programming process wouldn't allow me to differentiate between my own mistake or a problem caused in that cheap device. And then you want to buy a good solution so in the end you have spend more.
goto considered awesome!

pro tip: you can search for just about any programmer by name plus "device list".
this is the list for the S4: http://www.dataman.com/downloads/dl/file/id/17/dataman_s4_device_list.pdf
Support for GAL/PALCE "Requires GAL Module" whatever that is.

Look for a TOP853 on Ebay (around $50).
There are small lies, big lies and then there is what is on the screen of your oscilloscope.
