Looks like a solid reference.  One thing that struck me in the "typical home layout" was how the minor differences in symbols used relative to US practice made it initially fairly difficult to follow.  And how the fundamental clarity of the layout made it relatively easily to follow after a bit of orientation.

Page 94 of that book has a clear discussion of mean power in an AC circuit, not confused with “rms power”.
