I do not know what to think about the OLED display !!   I do not feel jealous so far LOL 

The Back-light Alert  replaced with a symbol in the OLED version.
No other differences.

I had the confidential tip before a week,  that it will be some delay about the Data logging software, because they are busy about releasing new products soon.
But I had no idea that this delay was about the software release, so to support with it and the U1273A too!! 

I had just re-download all the U1270 PDFs . 

And they look to have replace the Fine-tip test probes with the new  U1164A .
Nice move, because with the older ones it was hard to find the inner hole so to enter the probe to them.

Fluke 87V has 0.01ohm resolution as I remember, it must be enabled by holding a button... ??

Honestly, The OLED is kinda funky I think, but it isn't the big deal as most OLED-Using-Products tell you...

Sadly they seem to have downgraded the 1273A a bit compared to the 1272A. It is more like the U1271/U1272A mix without temperature measurement. The resoultion seems to be like the 72A, but the Max Frequency of the 71A and to Temp. Measurement (don't know why there should be no Temperature measurement?!).

The Battery life seems quite nice and it even let me think more that it's crazy to put a 9V Battery in the 1253B....
Maybe a C Version would get AAA's.....

The clamp meters look quite nice. I will look over them, and they seem to have reasonable prices, too

I do not have passion about OLED .. 

I bet that they came with this idea, by thinking the people who works mostly by doing bench work and electronics.
About the temperature setting it is there, nothing looks to be missing from the U1272A so far.

I have been confused because Temp. measurement wasn't mentioned in the specs. I am quite interested about the first tests.
Let's have a look how long it will take for their first OLED clamp meter to be released....
