Teardown of a Cheap Outdoor Light Sensor
« on: May 21, 2019, 07:30:30 am »
BISS0001 datasheet
http://www.ladyada.net/media/sensors/BISS0001.pdf

does anybody know a link for a datasheet for CO15P or is it C015P ?
out-put switch 8pin ic ?   I will assume the chip is under 400Ma and needs a reverse blocking diode to drive a relay coil.
got two sensor units but distrust the wiring colors, so I needed to take a peek inside one,  discovered no relay coil.

Teardown of a Cheap Outdoor Light Sensor

teardown of a Chinese made outdoor PIR  passive infrared motion sensor , this is the 12 volt unit..
as sold by e-bay & aliexpress.  the electrical wiring colors is some-what odd.
maybe potentially dangerous?
also sold is a 220 volt unit, that I have not done a teardown on.

if your interested here is my video and links
