The current shunt looks like hell  ;D  Other than that Perfect ..  ;)

That's no shunt, that's the meter's coil, which handles the full measured current.  It has seen better days, but there's virtually no voltage stress between turns. There could be voltage stress to case though, something to watch out for if using the meter.

Looks like a moving iron meter. If it is, it can do both DC and AC current, and it is true RMS - unlike a moving coil meter.
