Has anybody had any experience with this brand. Do they produce quality or crap ?

I am considering using one of their controllers in a project.

We've used a lot of Crydom SSRs at work. They are quality.

I should add, our equipment is expected to be functional 24/7 (Weather surveillance radars).
Never had a failure due to a faulty SSR yet.

I've used Crydom SSRs in all manner of manufacturing equipment over the years and have quite simply never seen one fail.

I have seen them fail in retail bottled oil manufacturing equipment but they were highly abused.(At least they were usually easy to replace.) As others have said they are quality products.

Okay, I take that back. I did see a pair of them fail, but they were running near their current limit, and the OEM didn't heat sink them. Not Crydoms fault.

one of the industry standards, just be sure to heat sink and heat sink compound them (sticky white stuff). I've only seen them fail from heat.
