Nice toy Mike, thanks. I can see the real use of it is to relieve your stress by crimping those blank terminals for hours ?  Its time to replenish the depleted terminals stock.



As those weird strips, I'm guessing maybe to increase the thermal mass of the pcb area where those power transistors dissipate the heat ?  To slow down the build up hot spots ? Still not convincing enough to my self though.
