Greenlee DM-510A Multimeter
« on: February 02, 2012, 10:22:11 pm »
I bought this multimeter recently for about $133 (USD) , and still havent decided if i overpaid or not, my newbie opinion that its a good multimeter, but i could be very wrong, maybe for that price i could get better?
Am not very qualified to "review" it myself or see whats good and whats bad  about it

so if anybody can tell me if i bought the right thing or not!

here are some of the technical details:
  • High visibility 6000 count LCD display
  • Auto power off, display backlight, analog bar graph
  • PC interface capability using optional USB RS-232 cable with data recording PC software
  • Capacitance and temperature measurement capability
  • AutoCHECK feature provides automatic selection of AC volts, DC volts, or resistance with low impedance for ghost-voltage elimination

here is the amazon link:

It seems pretty good. Its a rebranded Brymen BM-510. You might be able to do better for the money but not still have RS-232 link.
