JBC peripherals connector pinout
« on: March 02, 2019, 05:36:18 pm »
Hi,
I'm looking to buy a JBC DDE system and was astounded by the fume extractor switch unit price (400e), for what it actually is, a relay that turns a passthrough AC plug on and off. So I was wondering if someone has looked in to the peripherals connector, is it just a couple of HIGH/LOW outputs like on the Wellers or is there any kind of data going through, since in the menu of the main unit you select the type of accessory and you can daisy chain them.

Thanks
Oscar

bit late to the party, but the peripherals are definitely not just switches. MSE-A has a PIC inside, and it definitely talks to the DDE station. (source: I own both)
