non contact IR sensor -40c -400c

they guys long time watcher and reader first time poster!

I have started making a project, using the MLX90614 works really well!

but it is too expensive! i am trying to find another sensor.

I cant find any information on a "Handheld Non-Contact IR Laser Gun Infrared Digital Thermometer" to tell me what sensor the have in there.

I am almost just going to buy one and rip it apart. but because i am in Germany they are like 18 euros so i cant really fork out for that.

any info would be great
