ZD-915 Desolder gun/station

Hi guys,

Just thought I'd share a pretty awesome buy I found on fleabay. It's a ZD-915 as the subject states.
I'm new to all this but I am amazed at this little beauty that's been well built down, down, down to a price, £75 and that includes post.
This thing will suck your face off. I modded it to get bunch of extra suction and fitted a quieter fan.
I'm in Sinclair Spectrum fixing heaven at the moment.
It's been rebadged as a Duratool no name and the guy selling them is a sweet guy to deal with.

Thread necro, i know, but maybe someone will find it useful (yeah, in a forum full of guys troubleshooting electronics).

Suddenly the fan stopped working, i dismantled (warranty is over) and connected the fan to a PSU, to prove working. I found a cold joint in the fan's connector on the pcb side.

Following photos show the secondary board and the fan connector joints repaired :
