Weller WHA-300 repair
« on: October 07, 2024, 09:28:33 pm »
I have looked schematics for the WHA-300 but not found.

Heater works.
Fan is dead.
I tested fan motor with external ac psu and it works fine.

Anyone have this hot air station?

What types of chip? Are any of them microcontrollers?

Regarding the capacitors, make sure they're not damaged.

Have you checked the power supply of the fan also? That could be an issue also, if it's not receiving much power from it.

I have to get board powered and make some measurements.
There is no microcontrollers.
Fuses are ok.
Optocouplers i need to remove from board and test.

I manage to get it partially workking now.

Now power on fan spins all time really slow ,
When button is pushed fan spins faster ,rpm can be adjusted, led blinks and heater temp adjust works fine.

Needs more inspection.
