Identification of Transistor D471C on a PHIHONG PSA-2B PSU
« on: August 27, 2024, 08:54:32 am »
Hello everyone,

I am trying to repair an Apple II clone PSU from the 1980s.

I have a shortened transistor, which reads "D471C Y-3C5".

Attached are photos of its location on the PSU board.

I was unable to identify it online.

I want to find an equivalent part.

I would appreciate your help in identifying and finding an equivalent.

Thank you very much in advance,

Joe

Normally with a marking like that you put '2S' in front, so that would be 2SD471C.
Keyboard error: Press F1 to continue.

Thank you very much for your help.

I replaced it with a BC639 and now it is working.

Now the issue is with the motherboard, but I guess it's a question better suited for an Apple clone forum :)

Thanks again, much appreciated
Joe
