VC99 multimeter - adjusting
« on: April 05, 2017, 10:05:50 am »
Hello

I blew a fuse on my VC99 multimeter and while trying to remove the old fuse I accidentally broke a pot on the board, it is labelled VR5. Could anyone please supply me with a schematic or manual to explain how to adjust this pot?

Many thanks

Could you provide a picture of the circuit board?
Which exact VC99 is it? There are quite a few different manufacturers (Vichy/Vici/Victor) and they're all built a bit differently.
Was the VR a full metal one, or did it had a piece of plastic on it? Does it have any numbers on it (or on the broken piece)?

I have closed the multimeter now. The VR is not broken (badly) it was plastic with a metal top, I managed to put it together, and turn it left and right a few times. I just need a schematic or a "calibration" manual I suppose
