Try to find Siglent SHS806 oscilloscope firmware (dump)

Hi! Some figures decided to slip the update from Siglent into AKIP (Russian trademark for Siglent devices) and got a brick. Now he draws a beautiful screensaver Siglent SHS806 


Composition:
SHS600A_120400 SDY8.007.044B card
U4 ADSP-BF531 Blackfin DSP
U67 ALTERA Cyclone 4 CPLD
U11 LATTICE LCMXO640C CPLD
U6 S29GL064N90TFI04 which dump is wanted (Firmware from Siglent SHS806, SHS810 or SHS815)

Looking for a dump U6 ic for an oscilloscope SHS806.

Recovery method for SHS models:

There are only two methods.
1. Press the 'Scope' button.
2. Replacement the main boards. If under the warranty , SIGLENT can provide a new board for free.
 
The below are key points:
1.  When power it on, we should immediately repeated and quickly press the 'Scope' button.
2.  Can not press the button all the time. Need to press down and release.
3.  If the time run out 1 minutes and still get into user interface,  need to power it OFF, then power On and repeat steps 1 and 2.

This working only with DMM button, but in DMM mode no software update functions

Welcome to the forum.

It's recovered with a firmware dump from working device. NOR memory on bottom side of mainboard. You need programmer for repair oscilloscope.

kosomsk shared the 8MB dump with me so we can help others.
I will need your email by PM so I can send it to you.

I’m new here and ended up here after a lot of searching on the net.
I have a SHS806 with exactly the same problem.
Stuck on the boot screen and only getting it to startup when power on
and fast pulse hitting the “METER” button.
The meter function is normal working. But no user menu.
And if you push the scoop button it freezes and then you can only turn it off
And then power it up again while quickly toggling the “METER” button.
The question is? Can and will you explain how to flash firmware dump (shs810) in to the SHS806

As previously posted you must only use the Scope button:

If this fails, repeat and several times !
If you can access the Meter mode the SHS is trying to boot but can't make it to Scope mode.
Once in Scope mode update the firmware ASAP from here:

That is just the problem the solution with the scoop button is not working.
Tested the trick for more then 30 times.
While pushing the scoop button gives only a Bleeb after more than 25 seconds pulse pushing the scoop button.
And i can only get it in the meter mode.
When pulse pushing the METER button it gives a Bleeb and after the Bleeb the meter screen appears.
When in the meter mode no user menu is available 
If I push the scoop button the SHS806 freezes and power down is the only way getting out the freeze status.
So I hope flashing the software will fix the problem.
Do you mean this chip NOR memory? And his Jtag connection?

Please ignore the Scope button not apparently working and just continue to press it at boot like the instructions from Siglent say to do.

We must recover it into some mode to access the system menu and install the Siglent firmware via USB.

Update.
Hello again.
I left the scope for a while.
Since there was no solution, I tried the recovery again.
First keep pressing the meter button when starting up, then the meter part still works.
But if you then press scope, the screen goes black and freezes.
Start up again while pressing the scope button pulsating.
And hurrah hurray the scope image appeared and works fine.
I don't dare turn off the SHS806 now because I'm afraid it will no longer start up as a scope.
But now the question.
Can I turn it off and on again without any problem or is there a good chance that the scope part will not start again?

It should be fine to shutdown now.
Reboot and install the latest firmware.

Small problem, there is now 3.01.02.02R.7 in it. (SHS820??)
But my scope is a SHS806.
which one should I use for the update?
  SHS800 Firmware (Bandwidth: 60/100/150 MHz) – 5.09.01.07 (Release Date 03.26.20 )
Or
SHS820 Firmware (Bandwidth: 200 MHz) – 5.10.01.03 (Release Date 03.26.20 )

SHS820 is slightly different HW so use the version for SHS800 for all models to 150 MHz.
