service manual

check u554  on page 18, its an tlo82,  it goes to the j803 connector on page 24     this connector has the intensity signal ..

on page 35,  are your front panel controls are working correctly ?

You have to follow completly the intensity signal path, check all voltages ...  not assume the red arrow point out the problem ? if you say it varies from 0 to 6 volts, i cant say its correct since i dont have a complete schematic.

Print out all the pages and tape them together to have an good idea of the circuit(S) but they seem to be wrongly scanned,  they miss a central section ??

Send an email to gw instek, maybe they could send you an service manual ??

Sorry  if you wrote to me

I dont want to be rude       BUT

I wont help you modify your scope.

If you dont have any electonical knowledge,  i wont take the chance, nor being help responsible if you do mistake(s).

Your scope has been designed in a way, it should work as intended, if not,  you have to find the cause without adding modifications, and know how to use some instruments to do it.

The schematics are incomplete(s), and can create miss-interpretations
