thanks for your reply but unfortunately both fw have the same name ...
my actual wrong firmware installed and downloaded from here:
https://int.rigol.com/En/Index/listView/catid/28/tp/6/cat/7/xl/40is "DS1000ZUpdate.GEL" in fact this is the v00.06.01.00.00 for DS1202Z-E
the last and good one in date for my DS1074Z is the v00.04.04.04.03 from
https://beyondmeasure.rigoltech.com/acton/ct/1579/p-00ac/Bct/-/-/ct16_0/1/d?sid=TV2%3AQ2jKaGpUjhave the same name: "DS1000ZUpdate.GEL". it's same name but an message error appear when i try to reflash it.
for information in my system menu, the model name is actually declared like a DS1204Z with v6.01 software..
any other tips from users to try to recover my 4 channels..?
thanks
edit and solved procedure:after continue the upgrade to V6.02 (can't be do over v6.01) and downloaded from
https://beyondmeasure.rigoltech.com/acton/ct/1579/p-00ac/Bct/-/-/ct67_0/1/d?sid=TV2%3AQ2jKaGpUj1- i 've renamed the 10h bit with a hex editor to change the version number to 00.06.02.00.01 in my orginal GEL File (v00_04_04_04_03)
2- after i've renamed the original DS1000ZUpdate.GEL (V00_04_04_04_03) file (file that i join under) to DS1000Z-EUpdate.GEL and i recover all my 4 channels with a good fw version
3- make a self cal after 30min of warmup
thanks to ALexalr and KK1L for this big help link
I changed the entry 00.04.04.04.03 to 00.06.02.00.01, that is, to the one that was already in the memory of the oscillograph, but he again did not accept it. I had to change the name of the firmware from DS1000ZUpdate.GEL to DS1000Z-EUpdate.GEL, only after that the oscillograph adopted the update. All 4 channels are fully operational.
Did you do these changes in a stock FW or in my FW?
here under the final fw .GEL modified (to decompress before upgrade)
