Tektronix 2230 repair hint

One small hint that can save you a lot of time, if the screen looks like
check if the X and Y plate connectors did fall of and are shorting to ground. It's not easy to get an good picture of the connectors, i hope you can see it in the attached picture.

Have you checked all the LV PSU rails are to spec for voltage AND ripple?

Unusual trace behaviour like yours PSU is where I'd check first.

I think the OP is saying the scope is fixed.  The post is a demonstration of what it looks like when a plate connection falls off.

Maybe, I'm not sure I read that from the vid.
