Agilent DSO-X 3024A line filter board not working
« on: July 12, 2022, 07:22:17 pm »
Hello, i have an Agilent DSO-X 3024A, does not boot up, only 3 leds stay lit on the front panel.
when i measure on the PCA - Line Filter Board i can see a stable 13V on the input side and on the voltages output the values are well below the +/-3% ( i can see the 5V rail at 4,64 and dropping)

i guess there is an issue with a protection circuit, but i cannot figure out to many as i cannot find teh specifications of all the iCs

PCA - Line Filter Board cod 75019-26424

Agilent DSO is not very nice repair environment.
Have you looked around the forum, some others have also had some power issues.

Since the actual power is single output only there most likely are some DC/DC converters for other voltages.
If 12V is high and 5V low and dropping maybe one of those converters are overloading or is overloaded from the other side.
