Hi everyone
Very new to all this and not so electronic savvy so please forgive if this is a silly/obvious question.
Was trying to replace a relay and some caps without proper desoldering tools (very silly) and managed to lift off some pads. The PCB came out of a mini fridge that I was wanting to repair (the starter relay and compressor are okay
). I ended up buying a proper desoldering gun and got everything apart without more damage.
Anyway,
There are 2 PCBs stacked on top of each other, held together by soldered legs/pins, circled in red here:
The pad that lifted was one of the set of legs/pins, as pictured here:
My question is, was the lifted pad attached to anything pertinent? From my inexperienced eyes, I don't see it being connected to anything obvious? unless the dark green areas mean something...
-if it was connected to something pertinent, how should I proceed in fixing the pad?
