Repairing a DP823: Broken LCD
« on: May 09, 2017, 04:54:56 am »
Good morning, gents!

My little hellion of a nephew (with love, I assure you) decided that my DP823 would be a great thing to pull to the ground.  Lo and behold, broken LCD.  I tested most of the other functions through the programming interface, and all else seems normal.

I managed to disassemble the supply and remove the broken LCD, which appears to be a TM035KDH03 QVGA display.  Before I order one to replace, is there anything particular about the display that I should know about?  Alternately, are there any equivalent displays that would work?

Thanks!

Side note:  If anyone has one of these displays sitting around, I'd be happy to work out a deal for it :)
