Semicon S-219 rectifier diode cross-reference.
« on: May 11, 2020, 10:06:52 pm »
Hey all!
I need to replace a rectifier diode but coming up short on a data sheet or cross-reference. It's a Semicon S-219 (pics below). A buddy of mine said a 1N4007 should work just fine. I believe him but I figured I would ask you guys what you think I should use.
Thanks in advance!

I have no idea if this is even close to what that diode is but it was all could find.

The only real question is about the current; offhand I do not remember over what current range the "top hat" package was used.  But the chances are that the 1N4007 which is 1 amp will work fine.

I do not think that is correct because it is the wrong package.
