Rigol DP712 failed for no obvious reason
« on: July 10, 2020, 04:41:27 pm »
The power supply suddenly failed while delivering 24V at 100mA.
It displays "Analog board failed in self-inspection".

Any ideas?

Sorry about the image size and orientation.
I am unable to shrink it, or rotate it.
Maybe I am too stupid to own a Rigol.

Hello

I also have a DP711 with the same error, the text comes up immediately when switched on.

Have checked what I can check, +14V, -15V, Rectifier, OP Amplifiers etc..

One might suspect "CHIPSEA" CS1232 (Analog to Digital Converter)

Can these have a "service menu" where you can go in and see and test functions manually?
