Philips PM5108 function generator
« on: February 21, 2022, 08:25:45 am »
Hi!

I got a Philips PM 5108 signal generator on a yard sale a few years back. It had a faulty TTL output stage that I could repair quite easily and it worked flawlessly ever since.
But lately the missing dial is bothering me. I plan to replace the missing dial and give the whole unit an overhaul.
Problem is that i don't have any kind of documentation for it. No manual, no service manual, no specifications what so ever.

Does anyone have the user manual and service manual for this device?

I would appreciate your help!

Cheers!

The design is very similar to an old PM 5131 I have and here is yours:

That's true, they look a bit similar.
This is a link to the manual for the PM5131. https://www.opweb.de/deutsch/firma/Philips/PM_5131

The dutch page you linked leads to another page that has no further information for PM5108. But at least they confirm that the 5107 and 5108 are not comparable. For what it's worth.
