Question re small capacitor markings
« on: November 01, 2021, 01:33:08 am »
I have two small canister capacitors with markings in three rows on the top as below:
b
10
16

No other markings observed.
Do the markings tell me anything about the voltage and capacitance?
Both capacitors have 3mm diam, 5.5mm height. Are these SMD capacitors, or do they have leads? I can't access the bottom side yet.
Thanks.

10 uF

16V
I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.

My assumption would be 10uF 16v and the b is probably some coding the manfacturer uses for some other parameter.
