SOT-23 Device Marking Help
« on: July 24, 2020, 02:46:42 pm »
Hi All,
I'm hoping someone can help.
I'm working on repairing a SMPS,
I've hit a device which is in SOT-23 package which I'm struggling to identify.
Looking up the code gives me a few different devices depending on manufacturer.
Does anyone it's marked as "N2 C" but the is backward and more like a horse shoe. Photo included.
I'm hoping someone might be able to help identify the manufacturer so I can get a datasheet.
Thank you for the help and time.
Cheers
Mark

So with some delicate desoldering work I managed to get it connected to a component analyser,
for any future reference this turned out to be an N-Channel Mosfet not sure who the manufacturer is I would still like to know who's logo that is but this datasheet seems to be close

It sometimes helps to identify other parts on the same PCB, just in case the designer has chosen the same manufacturer.

Few 20V FETs with the same code, for future reference google "SMD code list" and you'll see some sites/pdfs. Vishay or the ON one above look closest.
