Overlays the strips from the matrix in the laptop
« on: October 10, 2024, 08:08:23 pm »
Hello

I need help repairing the tape from the matrix in my laptope msi titan pro gt73 6rf

I managed to locate the fault, the tape visible in the photos is to blame

Unfortunately, I have no other idea than to replace the entire sensor, everything is permanently soldered

Is there any way to resuscitate such a tape?

For an average person, no.  That screen is dead.  You would need to remove that connection and replace it, it has thousands of microscopic connections that drive the columns on the LCD panel.

It is possible for some factories and workshops to repair this, I think it is done in some Chinese phone repair shops now.  But the equipment is too expensive for a one-off repair.

You need to buy a new LCD panel.
