Keithley 2182 transformer tr 299
« on: August 18, 2024, 08:30:05 pm »
Hi all,
I have a Keithley 2182 that was plugged in 220v ( instead of 120v) and as a result the transformer is busted. It looks it is an old model and I can't find the replacement. I found that similar ( at least name) transformer is used on Keithley 2000 but when I looked at the manuals they are very different.  Any suggestion is helpful. Can i send the transformer for repair ( any place you guys know can do a high end job ?).

Are there really that many windings?

Maybe 2000 model picture is drawn differently.

You can show us a picture of the transformer. I think if it's the same as in the K2000, a replacement part should be easier to get as for your meter.

There is a picture on xdevs.
TR-299. Looks like the same transformer as K2000.
