They are the only resistors on the board that drift. Because they are a high precision resistor and likely are a different brand/series, they just happen to be more susceptible to Sulphur degradation.
In case this is of interest to someone, it looks like I have a long-term fix for the suspension rod dampers in the current model Fisher & Paykel top loaders which I can share. It's a bit involved and only suitable for those doing a lot of back yard washer repairs.

Hey Bill, Xavier60 is a whizard on these problems, my advice if you repair these pcb's with a change of lnk624dg, and have no power up, is that usually the transformer has gone near short circuit, way down from the 10ohms on primary, and on disassembly of transformer the reason becomes self evident. This transformer is unable to be sourced anywhere, and it is possible to rebuild with ee16 parts, wire and tape from aliexpress. Can post info if needed about parts and winding info, but obviously this time you have good luck on your side as you are able to at least get your pcb to fire up and give a code 112.
Good luck, Peter.
The transformer can be replaced with one from an old P6 or P7 board. But because of the slightly different turns ratio, the TVS diode needs to be also replaced with something higher, I can't remember what ATM. The TVS from a P7 board of course is correct.

Xavier60, You mentioned the "suspension rod dampers". I assume part  424569P, these retail at $223.00 from Fisher & Paykel here in New Zealand. So it wouldn't matter how involved the repair was. Thanks Bill

The expensive part is getting a suitable friction material. I still have no idea what the original stuff is, but it's known to have a limited life anyway.
For 2 years now, I have been using an open cell rubber material called "ejection rubber", with no sign of failure so far.
I get it on Alibaba for about $200 with shipping for a box of it, which is enough to do about 200 sets of rods.
I had to make a tool to cut the 7x7mm strips down to the correct size.

I asked for "one box of 100 pieces of ordinary grey 7x7x500 open cell 35° Shore A"

re 112 fault. one of the voltages was up at 2.8. After replacing the resistors its now all good. I lost 2 resistors while trying to measure them (they flew away!) one of the remaining resistors was 1.6k. Once again Thank you for all your help  :-+
