Vizio Soundbar Subwoofer board!
« on: May 14, 2020, 09:16:55 pm »
Hi all,

I noticed my woofer stopped working, so I tore it down and probed it. No voltage to the required parts of the board! I pulled one of the SMD caps off the board to probe it directly and it seemed good. So I put it back. I then noticed a burned trace up to an IC, so I pulled the IC off the board. Unfortunately, I ended up burning off 3 of the leads of the IC when I pulled it off the board... me an my radio shack iron lol...

Anyway, hoping someone could help me identify the IC because I've scoured the internet and the top mark isn't any where to be found. Also, if there is someone that can look at the circuit and possibly recommend a replacement part, that would be awesome! Thanks in advance!!

Also, don't mind the tortured smd cap, it still works. Also, there was still flux on the board when I took this pic, hence the discoloration.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the two bottom legs from the left read 24V DC. So, I would imagine that Vcc is 24V on whatever this chip is.
