I was reading in another thread that you may think this (repair video) would be opening a can of worms. I agree if you get into the test side it would be crazy. The board is good for actual repair questions that's what it's here for.
I'm thinking something basic, more like a repair handy tip video.
- I'm sure we have all had the metal end of a screwdriver slip under a pcb that was powered, could be bad.
- Using standoffs as legs on a board to make the work go easier.
- Using a jig to test (microcurrent jig)
- If you have multiple test points use jumpers, connect to a plastic ruler for easy access.
- Jumpers cut to make a solder on version.
In life you lean these things fast on the bench but why not share?
