So a customer's USB C port broke on their Asus C433T chromebook. A new board is almost 200$, which is a stupid amount of money for a chromebook motherboard. All that appears to be wrong is that the USB C port that it charges from is broken, and unfortunately it doesn't appear to be a common connector.
Here's some photos:
https://imgur.com/a/j42XdNFAs you can see, it hangs below the PCB (instead of being centered in the PCB), as well as being through hole, and I and I can't seem to find anything that matches it.
The closest I could find is this:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33009758122.html which doesn't appear to sink the connector below the PCB like the original jack is, and I can't see how the pins are arranged. Thanks for that, aliexpress seller. The original jack appears to have two rows of pins, but I don't know if there's any surface mount crap underneath it.
I'm really not sure what to look for on mouser, digikey, arrow, etc since there's so many options.
What would you guys suggest? Do you know what part this could be or where to source it?
