Diode replacement

Hi guys!
new here, but been following EEVblog for a while now.
I have a Volvo computer to repair (from an excavator or similar) but I can't find info on the burned component.
It looked like a diode obviously... might be a zener? but without info, it is hard to order a replacement component. it is about 6.5mm overall length and 3.5mm width.
diode test (multimeter) gives me about .570V forward and 3.20V backward on a good one.
any help here to identify/test/find a replacement is more than welcome.

Are you measuring this diode in-circuit?

I have order 10 of each MRS1504T3 and NRVS1504T3G. will compare in circuit once received for similar reading compare to the other one.
I guess comparing using my curve tracer will give me a better idea than just using a multimeter.

I decided to install the NRVS1504T3G in place. tested the same with multimeter and curve tracer. I guess it is a good sign! turned out it burned the pads so I had to find where it went and fix the trace. should be good to go. will let you guys know when it has been tested.

What for? They're the same thing. It's not that uncommon manufacturer having multiple part numbers for exactly the same part. For example one JEDEC and one with internal naming scheme. Or simply old and new naming schemes, which would not be surprising considering history of on semi.

one was rated 1.5A, the other one was rated 3A. hence the order of both type. I ended up taking the one rated for 3A.
just what I saw on mouser data info.

one was rated 1.5A, the other one was rated 3A. hence the order of both type. I ended up taking the one rated for 3A.
just what I saw on mouser data info.
They're both rated the same 1.5A average, 3A peak repetitive and have the same datasheet and marking. https://www.onsemi.com/pdf/datasheet/mrs1504t3-d.pdf It's one part with two ordering numbers.

BTW never trust component description from distributor, always check a datasheet. They're full of inaccuracies and often present different parameters as the same thing as it seems in your case. The most common is mixing together typical and max specs.

thanks for the info!
make sense when I read datasheet. it would have been 2 different set of parameter if different.
will throw them in the same bag. (and will rely less on distributor for such info next time)
